I just received my second softshell jacket. I loved the first one so much, I ordered another in a different color. Both jackets fit so well, and look great. I especially love how well they block the wind, and keep me dry in the rain.
I had to return XL and reorder a 1X. Hip size of 45 and waist size of 35 wouldn't work in an XL although size chart shows this should work- way too tight in hip. Reordered a 1X and am waiting to see how that works. Loved the color and look of the jacket. Nice weight and style.
I bought this jacket in black from a local store and loved it. My 20 year old daughter borrowed it for a trip to Oregon and never gave it back so I found Free Country's website and bought myself the dark grey chevron jacket. It's light weight and perfect for our California weather.
Living in the midwest, this jacket was the perfect layer for during our harsh winter and also stood up on its own as a warm jacket during the still cold (but slightly warmer) spring months. Love this jacket to pieces! Don't hesitate to buy!
I'm normally a 12/14 and usually purchase a large, but I wasn't sure about sizing so I ordered a XL. A L would have fit better in the body but would have been tight in the shoulder, so while the XL is a little loose in the body it fits my shoulder good. Please note the color says black, but its really grey with a blackish looking pattern or something. I thought I was getting a "black" jacket, but I like it and plan to keep it.
