Natural Down (90%) for Lightweight Warmth and Comfort
I just got the jacket, I wish it was true to size. It fits like a small. I bought a medium. It is really thin. I'm hoping it will keep me warm. I'm glad I didn't spend more than $60 on it. And that is high for me.
I bought two of these in small. One for my 5'-5", 140 lb husband, and one for my 5'-7", 130 lb teenager. They fit fine, but my teenager's arms are just a little long for the sleeves. The jacket is lightweight (13 oz) and thin enough to layer under a shell. It is warm--it kept my husband comfortable on a blustery 30 degree day. It has a matte finish. The pockets and detachable hood are great features. I am glad I bought these jackets--they are a great value.
I own a lot of down jackets. The outdoor industry sent most of them to me at no cost for reviews .. I use them for everything, Spring Winter and Fall as every day wear. Skiing, climbing in the barn and just around town. And I am tough on my clothing. This one I bought as a lark last Fall. Wished I'd have bought the bright green one as well. If it was warm enough this winter...20F and higher.. it was an every day jacket for me. Or if colder as a under layer. I've had to wash it more than once from working with horses and a barn. Just bought a 2nd jacket this week. The best value and the best piece of lightweight down clothing for its weight I own. If you saw my gear closet you'd understand more about the endorsement I give this one. BIG thumbs up from me.
