I ordered this jacket as a replacement for an aging LL Bean 3-in-one. It appears to be very well made. I bought the olive green with orange styling and inner jacket. I've received several compliments on how goog it looks on me. The 3-in-one aspect works amazingly well. The outer and inner jackets can of course be worn separately, but a nice bonus is that they look (and wear) like separate jackets, that just "happen" to combine when zipped together. The fully detachable hood is a nice plus also. Worn together, the two jackets are a little heavy, but nicely warm. The outer jacket is a slightly large fit. I bought XL, and I am 6ft 1in, 225 lbs. The inner jacket is snugger, and perfect to wear on its own if you just want to take the chill off when walking (or in our office on President's Day when we had no heating). The outer jacket is definitely rain resistant, although I haven't worn it yet in a real downpour. Just be aware that neither jacket breaths nor wicks. If you're very active in either jacket (or both), you will get wet from perspiration. However, I won't take off any stars for that, as there are no claims that the jacket does breath or wick (it's not Gore-Tex). Overall, an excellent jacket at a really good price.
